Yorùbá Proverbs are known to be wise sayings from the aged ones or elders which are passed through generations to teach some historical lessons, or to highlight good morals, and also to instil social values.
One of the beauty of it is the use by a younger person, whereby he or she is prohibited to in the presence of an older person, without prior permission to do such.
