I noticed I've been colour blind since childhood. While growing up, I did all I could to help myself in identifying colors, but all to no avail. While I was a Primary School teacher, I tried seizing the opportunity to identify colors whenever the class had topics on colours e. g colour mixtures. I would later have to request for the assistance of a better teacher to help the pupils. I never wanted their case to be like mine. I tried as much as possible to keep a colour in my memory, yet, I find it so hard to identify when many related colors are brought before me. I can only identify colors when they are bold & in separate, not when different colours are mixed. My career has to do with color codes; red-green-brown, aqua, slate, violet, orange, pink & many more. I'm not seeing myself getting to the peak with colorblindness, unless the grace of God works wonder for me. If you know what I meant. Could this disability be treated in adults?
