My fellow Nigerians, "There's one thing that comes back with the mourners of a man from the graveyard...that is his character". A person's character lives on for a long long time. It persists in the memory of those who either met them physically or heard or read about them. Notable examples are replete: Harriet Tubman, Napoleon Bonaparte, Mohandas Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Mobutu Sese Seko, etc. The mere mention of any of these names, replays some clips of history in your memory. The big question for you as you read this humble piece remains glaring: In what ways are you contributing positively to the welfare and progress of your constituency (the neighbourhood or village where you were born or brought up or currently reside, your political ward, local government area, state, geopolitical zone or country)?
