Kanu's Lawyer Says He Was Told To Get Out Of Car And Walk One Mile To Court

38

In the video below, special Council to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, has told of how he was ordered by security operatives to park his car and walk a distance of one mile to the court premises. It was when he complained that he could not carry his briefcase and all his court documents that another officer intervened and he was allowed to drive to court Ejimakor had in September filed a suit in Umuahia high court seeking 5 billion Naira, an apology from the federal government and return the of Kanu to Kenya where he was 'kidnapped' from, and brought to Nigeria Ejimakor complained that despite the fact that Kanu does not appear in the Umuahia high court, the security agencies had a habit of laying siege on the court and cordoning off the place any time Kanu's case came up, making it very difficult to gain access to the court. He however said that the case had been postponed to 10th December with a serious warning from the Judge that security agents should no longer besiege the court without his permission
