About the role We are looking to hire creative specialist with Graphic Designer and Video Editor to elevate and implement our digital marketing activities through content creation. You will record, edit and upload training videos. Passionate about visual storytelling and excited to bring the power of storytelling to the missions and projects of your business partners. You’re a self-starter and a problem solver. You follow through on tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously. You have an uncompromising attention to detail. You have strong time-management skills. You’re confident in your abilities, and comfortable working without constant supervision. Ideal candidates are comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environment while helping us tell our compelling, powerful stories. Duties and Responsibilities of the job Your duties will include but are not limited to the following: 1. Design visual content for print and digital applications that is on-brand, reinforces our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences. 2. Design and layout of essential business materials (e.g. business cards, presentations). 3. Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data. 4. Edit video clips for use on social media platforms. 5. Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various endeavours, programs and events. 6. Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction. 7. Assist team in developing and executing communications plans. 8. Provide technical support for design- and video-related efforts. 9. Optimise graphics and video content for social media platforms; 10. Record, edit and upload videos on YouTube and other media channels. 11. Record, edit and upload podcasts to SoundCloud and other audio channels.. 12. Record, edit and upload training videos. 13. Create original engaging and professional visuals that reflect our brand and are optimised for marketing and promotional materials. 14. Developing highly creative concepts and designing materials including logos, newsletters, invitations, advertising campaigns concept development, etc. 15. Managing and maintaining graphic files, including photos, logos and art. 16 Maintain organised content files, and help to organise and archive existing video and graphics files; 17. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications and Requirements You are also expected to display the following traits: 1. Minimum of 1 years professional experience. 2. Strong visual communications and storytelling skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images. 3. Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and Photoshop), CorelDraw, Microsoft Office, DropBox, and G Suite. 4. Familiarity with best practices for graphics and video content on social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). 5. Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. 6. Flexibility in working with new issues, topics, and approaches. 7. Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve. 8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues; 9. Solid verbal and written communication skills. 10. Manage timelines and prioritisation of workload, and know when to ask for direction; Not necessary but of advantage: WordPress Skill.
