Although many Nigerians took to social media to criticize President Muhammadu Buhari when he suspended Twitter in Nigeria for deleting his tweet, one thing these critics failed to recognize is the fact that the action of Mr. President is for the good of all Nigerians. The reoccurring false information we see on Twitter on daily basis is a call for concern and the relevant stakeholders need to up their games and ensure that those misusing social media receive appropriate punishments.Femi Fani Kayode/Facebook Recently, the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode shared an inciting tweet to the general public. In the said tweet, the well-known politician brought to life an old video of some hoodlums stopping buses in 2017 and demanding that all persons from the Hausa tribe come out of the moving vehicle with the caption “Igbo People Were Stopping Cars And Looking For Hausa People To Target And Kill”.
