Boko Haram Is Now A Ministry In Nigeria
For those who might attempt to argue with me on the title of this write up, you are welcome, but before you do, pls take a break from naijaworld and make use of google to do a little research on the quarterly and yearly overall budget of our federal government, both immediate past and present on insecurity, when you arrive at a figure, then you can come back and argue. If you have not been to Borno, it would be an interesting trip and an eye opener for you once you decide to embark on one, and if fortunate enough to take a tour of the state, you would be amazed at the share amount of infrastructural investment by both the federal government and international NGOs going on there. You would be fascinated by nice and gigantic brand new Infrastructures all over the state, the only problem is they are deserted and majority have never been used since 2012, just like so many other similar abandoned and deserted brand new structures built by both FG and international NGOs littering Maiduguri and the whole of Borno. If I must say, those structures would be much more appreciated and properly utilized in the South south and south east. Some persons are just cashing out big from the destruction and chaos going on in Borno, cos from my findings, 70% of awarded and ongoing contracts in Nigeria since 2015 till date is in Borno state.
