Angry Ogun State Residents Stone, Chase Away Fulani Herdsmen From Community

Some residents in Ogun State were caught chasing away Fulani herdsmen and their cattles from the state. This comes amid activities of herders which have continued to raise concerns in several parts of the country, with some regions banning open grazing. The 2- minutes video which has gone viral on social media shows young men stoning herders as they keep running for their dear lives. The incident according to information gathered by our correspondent occured at Idi Ori in Abeokuta, Ogun State. In the video, the woman who recorded the incident can be heard pleading to the young men to stop throwing stones at the herders so as to avoid bringing war on their community. The woman also appealed the men chase away the herdsmen not to harm or kill their cattles. She marveled at the amount of cows in the area which was unknown to them.
