Yes you read right! Growing up in a Catholic home, we were forbidden from eating meat on good Fridays because it was believed you'll be eating the body of Christ since he was killed on that day. My family observed this fully and mum and dad made sure no one goes out carelessly on that day. Though we were always locked indoors with the "Jesus film" ( as it was called those days) so it made it easier for them to monitor us. It's been a while now as I'm no longer a member of the Catholic denomination and don't know if they still practice that doctrine. So I wanna know guys. Do you still abstain from meat on good Fridays? Why do you guys think it is Jesus' meat you're eating.
