The Present Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, also known as Mutawallen Sokoto, is celebrating his 55th birthday today being January 10th. On this day in the year 1966 a child was born into the noble family of Wazirin Tambuwal of Sokoto State. He was named Aminu, which means trustworthy. As traditions have it he grow to adopt the traditional title of his father and that of his town into his name. Today, Basiru Adamu Gobir put this poem together to celebrate his birth and applauded his journey into Nigerian politics. BashGobir was an erudite Agriculturalist and a poet by passion. TAMBUWAL AT 55!
