Reason Why You're Not So Smart Like The Others

We are in a society that we see people that fail a test or an examination as failures, dullards, unintelligent people. But nobody cares to find out what the reason is, they only advice the individual to read but that's like telling a stammer the only way to reduce stammering is talking slowly which is false. Every physiological aspect of life is controlled by the psychological phenomenons. If you're not smart like your friends you shouldn't hate yourself, cos every humans weren't built equally. Factors that makes you a less intelligent person in school: 1. IQ(intelligent quotient). It is said those who have higher IQ tends to process information and assimilate information faster than people with low or average IQ. IQ is not something you build, it's something you were born with. When you have a mum with a low IQ, you tend to inherit the same percentage of her IQ. It was never your fault or your mom's but they way you were built. Our brain processing power varies in individuals and that's why some are better than some. 2. Inability to Apprehend: We have some students that will read a book for 3 hours and still not understand what they read. It lies on the pattern of reading. We have two types of readers, passive readers and active readers. Active readers read and analyze meaning from the context of the book. While passive readers read only the context word for word without apprehension. A lot find it difficult to find meaning in a sentence and so they read the words thoroughly without getting a single point from it. I don't know the main cause of this but it's contributing factor is the way we were thought to read at infant age. 3. Dopamine(reward pleasure) After school we have some students that will rather play a game or do another fun work rather than reading a book and that's why some Do not read and end up failing an exam. It all comes to our Dopamine sensitivity, those who feel like reading is boring have high Dopamine than normal. They rather chase something that would make them happy or put them in a good mood that is hyper stimulating cos it pumps more Dopamine but reading or studying pumps a little Dopamine in their brains and that's why after some minutes you see them chasing other hyper stimulating activities like pressing phone, hanging around, gisting, if they don't do that it will look like their body isn't right with them. It's not their fault. It's contributing factor is exposure to a lot of fun activities more than reading at a tender age, alcohol, smoking,drugs which affect the Dopamine sensitivity and make you lose interest in less Dopamine stimulating activities. 4. LOW MEMORY: Almost everyone experience this. You study and study and grasped everything but once you sleep and wake up, those information you understood very well vanishes from your memory. The same way we use our phone and when our phone storage becomes full it says clear cache to free memory and it erases some of your apps data, pictures, videos. Same way our memory works, when there's a lot of load on the brain memory, it tends to push out some unimportant information out to be able to retain the important ones. Our brain wasn't built only to store information it was built to store and wipe out information. So when you read and forget easily, it's because there's a lot of load on the brain. Minimize what you read in a day. 5. Short Term Memory: For crammers during examination. Some are built with higher short term memory than long term memory and they can cram effectively and write absolutely well in exam but won't retain that information after the exam. While some are built with high long term memory than short memory and they quickly remember what they have read or what the lecturer noted. Short term memory stores information for a limited amount of time. Once that information isn't practiced or used regularly it sends those information to the trash bin. So having high short term memory isn't the best for future reference. To improve your long term memory, try taking omega fatty acid foods like fish or the supplement fish oil or you can Google about long term memory booster foods. I hope you enjoyed this information.
