With basic thermodynamics of liquid, it’s easy to see the ridiculousness of the Noah’s ark myth. The Bible claims that there was rainfall for 40days that covered the peak of Mount Everest, let’s even assume that the earth contains that much amount of water molecules to reach the height of 8848 meters. What about the latent heat of vaporization of the huge amount of water? What effect will that have on the ecosystem? This can be even experimented in the most archaic of all scientific labs What is latent heat of vaporization? Latent heat of vaporization is the latent heat, energy absorbed or released by a liquid during a change in its physical state into gaseous form that occurs without changing its temperature. For example, when a pot of water is kept boiling, the temperature remains at 100 °C (212 °F) until the last drop evaporates, because all the heat being added to the liquid is absorbed as latent heat of vaporization and carried away by the escaping vapour molecules. By calculation using the formula to calculate latent heat of vaporization, the amount of energy required from the sun to vaporize such amount of water that covered the peak of Mount Everest within a period of less than 1year will produce a latent heat of more than 5000 °C. This temperature will totally sterilize the biosphere, (part of the earth where living organisms thrive), even the so called thermophiles (organisms that live in extreme temperatures) will not survive this temperature. So it makes no scientific sense that such an event can occur, it’s demonstrable in the lab that’s a ridiculous concept. Unless of cause you decide to inject miracles into it, however this doesn’t make it any more scientific. It doesn’t just make any scientific sense. We just have to laugh over it because the story was written by Bronze Age nomads who didn’t even know that the earth is spheroid. If you believe that story then you are even more ridiculous than they were.
