God doesn't add, he multiplies. Just like the popular quote goes, "heaven helps those who helps themselves." If you go on believing that God will help you, add strength to your elbow, bring the promising future right to the door of your heart, without you doing something to bring those hopes to life, then you are confusing the reality with your expectations. Untill you understand that God doesn't add and that he multiplies instead, you will always keep going the wrong direction. God multiplies to your efforts, no matter how little they are—he doesn't add to it, he multiplies it. So while waiting on God, hoping for the best, believing, try to do something that is multipliable. You can't multiple zero efforts, add anything to zero and it would be zero. Zero efforts can't be multiplied, but the little efforts that can be multiplied. This shows that God doesn't encourage laziness, instead, he encourages hard-working by multiplying what we worked for. If you think that paying offering, listening to your pastor preach and later have him lay hands on you will change your life or add anything to your life without you working for those things, then you are dead wrong. Untill you get up and do something, don't expect anybody to do it for you, not even God.
