BACK HOME INITIATIVE FOUNDER: DR. CHELSEA NKECHI ONWUDINJO, HONOURED AS EMINENT PEACE AMBASSADORS. By Amb Timothy Nwachukwu Dr. Nkechi Chelsea Onwudinjo PhD, The Founder Back Home Initiative, A Non-governmental organisation advancing the United Nations Sustainable development goals as well as encouraging Africans in Diaspora to think home and support Developmental efforts in their home Countries has been honoured with Eminent Peace Ambassador by International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) an international non-governmental organization affiliated to the United Nations Global Compact promoting peace and harmony in various local communities across the globe while working to ensure that the aims and objectives of the United Nations in the maintenance of global peace is being achieved. IAWPA works to promote peace and harmony in various local communities across the globe and to ensure that the aims and objectives of the United Nations in the maintenance of global peace is been achieved by engaging local stakeholders whose peaceful disposition will better the communities for which they belong. Dr. Chelsea Onwudinjo was honoured alongside other Eminent Nigerians on 4th July 2021 at the Nicon Luxury Hotel Abuja at the celebration of American Day in Abuja. In her Specch, Dr Nkechi Appreciated the organisers of the event for deeming her worthy to be honoured with the award and restated her commitment towards the actualisation of the United Nations sustainable development goal by 2030. Past Recepient of Eminent Peace Ambassador Award include former President Goodluck Jonathan and other distinguished Nigeirans.
