Exclusive from Tiz Naija @tiznaija Visit us Three Police Officers attached to a serving Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Clifford Ordia are reported to have taken some bullets after a decisive action from the Gunmen against the Senator in Kogi State. Senator Clifford Ordia who dislcosed this on Monday to the News Men said that the Gunmen, on sighting his convoy opened fire on him and his Men while they were on transit, he said. According to the Senator representing Edo Central, his convoy was attacked twice in a day by this unknown Gunmen. We were made to understand that both attacks happened on Monday, leaving three of his officers in critical condition in the hospital, he said. On sighting my convoy, the suspected bandits opened fire on my convoy, bullets were coming from different directions, my Gallant Police Escort returned fire immidately while we hurried to drive out of that horrible and life threatening scene, he said. We later escaped unhurt and drove down to Abaji, Abuja. Between Abaji and Gwagwalada, we encountered another set of bandits who opened fire on my convoy again. This time, the fire power was so heavy, three of the Police Officers were injured, while one is in critical condition right now. We hurridly took the injured officers to a hospital in Abuja, and we thank God they are all responding to treatment, he said.
