Enyimba Fc of Aba, Nigeria defeated their South african counterparts "Orlando Pirates" also known as The 'Bucanners' in ABA last night in a Frenetic and pulsating encounter played under the floodlights.. The match which happened to be the last group game in the ongoing CAF confederations cup saw the home team defeat their opponent with a lone goal scored late on by Midfielder Cyril Olisema.. The Enyimba team started the game 3rd on the group and was pushed further down to last on the group barely six mins after when Es setif of Algeria took the lead against Al Ahli Benghazi of Libya in there own game going on simultaneously, with the team missing Captain Austin Oladapo in the middle of the pack, Enyimba lacked fluidity and cohesion in their play and the first half ended on a stalemate, having made Two substitution after 10 mins in the second half bringing on Tosin Omoyele and another player, Coach Fatai Osho's team began to click into gear and the play maker (Super eagles boy) Anayo Iwuala became more involved in the game.. Despite all time wasting antics of the opposing team especially the goalkeeper, Enyimba remained resolute and kept on pressing on till the goal arrived courtesy of a cutback from tricky winger Anayo Iwuala in the box which was finished off by Cyril Olisema with the clock ticking just a minute remaining from additional time and sent the team's bench, journalist, security and pocket of fans into raptures, The team having had a goal minutes before then ruled out for offside..
