Are Christians The Ones Forcing Jesus To Come Back To Become King In This World?

27

The two verses below shows that Jesus clearly stated that He is not interested in the kingdom of this world, but it appears that Christians are hell bent on forcing Him to come back to be a King in the world. How can you be forcing someone to become King when He is not interested? Jesus was a Jew and He practiced Judaism and God's promise in Judaism is about a Messiah that is to come that will rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem and restore peace in this world and will not come back a second time to restore peace in this world, mind you Jesus prophesied the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem but did not prophesy that He will come back to rebuild it. So why are Christians not interested in the Messiah that is still to come whom God has promised? John 6:15 New King James Version Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone. John 18:36 New King James Version Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
