Is it against the rulings of Islam to brush or clean your mouth while fasting? This question has become pertinent because of the carefree attitude of one of my colleagues at work. He is gradually constituting nuisancy at the office. He now comes to work unkept and with a smelly mouth. Whoever he talks to, feels the stench of his wrath. We don tire for Ibrahim and we are even considering asking our boss to give him some weeks off to concentrate fully on his fasting. Ibrahim sef doesn't help matters. Person wey dey fast suppose dey get quiet time to himself and suppose dey reserved. But this guy's case is different. Him go just dey jump from one desk to another dey open mouth anyhow. Me, I have resolved to tell him that his mouth is smelling the next time he comes to me. How many weeks is even remaining for the Ramadan?
