Ogun NANS mourns as ex-Poly student, Adewole Tobiloba, slumps, dies The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun JCC has mourned the passage of a former student of the polytechnic, Ilaro, Comrade Adewole Tobiloba. The deceased was said to have slumped at his residence and was confirmed dead at Queen's Hospital, Ilaro. The state chairman, Comrade Kehinde Damilola Simeon, led other students to the burial of Tobiloba held on Saturday at the Church Cementry of St Peter's Anglican Church, Konifewo, Iyana Ilogbo Ogun state. According to a statement on Saturday by Simeon, "earlier today the generality of Nigerian Students were thrown into mourning as we received the news of the sudden demise of Comrade Adewole Tobiloba, who was said to have given up the ghost after he slumped at his Ilaro residence and was confirmed dead at Queen's Hospital, Ilaro. "The Leadership of NANS Ogun JCC, under my auspices along with other structures of the students Community in the gateway State comprising of the Leadership of The Progressive Students Movement , NANS zone D and Student Union Presidents of different citadel's across the Gateway state. "We all were at Konifewo, Iyana Ilogbo area of the gateway state to pay our last respect to our Dear pedagogical Comrade in person of Adewole Tobiloba. "His remains was laid to rest at the Church Cementry Of St Peter Anglican Church, Konifewo, Iyana Ilogbo Ogun state. "After which I alongside the Students leaders on ground addressed the Student populace and affirmed our intentions to immortalise the fallen Comrade in Conjunction with the Student Union Government of Federal Poly Ilaro. "We all later retired to the residence of the Parent of the deceased to condole with them and share their pain in their trying moment. "We thereby use this medium to re affirm our unflinching commitment towards prioritizing the Welfarism of all Nigerian Students in the gateway state and pray that God Almighty avert such ill events in the future".
