Ae-funai Vc Calls For Teamwork Among Staff

The Vice-Chancellor of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Professor Sunday Elom has called on staff to imbibe the philosophy of teamwork in order to achieve the goals of the institution. The Vice-Chancellor made the call today, 23rd February, 2021 when staff of the Department of Medical Biochemistry paid him a courtesy call. Prof. Joseph O. Nwankwo (L) presenting a portrait to the Vice-Chancellor,Prof. Sunday Elom on behalf of staff of the Department of Medical Biochemistry Professor Elom also used the occasion to state that the College of Medicine of the University would be given special attention, adding that universities in Europe and America were known for particular disciplines. He therefore promised to replicate such by ensuring that the University carves a niche for herself. He further thanked the department for their visit, assuring them that their requests would be given serious attention. He also used the opportunity to appeal to Management for the employment of senior technologists to bridge the existing staff gaps in the departmental laboratories.
