The National Executive Committee of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP NEC, has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the party's National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and the entire National Working Committee of the party. The PDP NEC reached this decision during a meeting that was held at the party's national secretariat in Abuja on Friday. According to part of the resolutions reached by the body which was signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDPNEC expressed satisfaction with the workings of the party's NWC regarding preparation for the November 2021 Anambra state gubernatorial election. It also expressed satisfaction with the workings of the party's NWC since it came on board in December 2017. Furthermore, the PDP NEC cautioned members of the party at all levels to be alert and wary of agents of destabilisation and confusion within the ranks of the party. Aside the confidence vote on the NWC, the PDP NEC further appointed a committee to carryout e-registration for new members of the party.
