ROMELU LUKAKU AND HIS TANTRUMS Chelsea resigned their former player for a Club record fee of £97.5 million on a five year deal from Italian Seria A champions Inter Milan last year, due to their percieved need for more fire power in their ranks, despite them winning last season's Uefa Champions League. Therefore, Romelu Lukaku's recent outburst on an interview with Sky Italia of him wanting to return to Italy, before his team's game against Jurgen Klopp's liverpool at Stamford Bridge was seen by many as not only ill timed, but very unnecessary and disrespectful. Meanwhile, we are aware he had just returned from a long injury lay off, while German Tactician Thomas Tuchel has gradually been bringing him up to speed to be in tune with the rhythm of games again, by bringing him on, on a substitute basis before he finally adjusts to the level of play again, but the Belgian seemingly took it the wrong way hence his outbursts. In addition to this, his comments should not be welcomed and as such will not help the confidence of his teammates going forward. But his recent apology should go a long way in appeasing his teammates, his coach, the fans and the club in general. Nonetheless, he should bear in mind from now onwards that all players are valuable to the team, with each of them having a role to play, as long as they have the best interest of the team at heart.
