The word stingy is derogatory and so I can't be associated with it. 2. If you are a family man, you can not be stingy to your family members else you will reap what you sow. 3. SMAN is a movement for lazy people to run away from their responsibility. 4. SMAN is a movement for men who cheat on their wives and guys who refuse to get married so as to be dating many girls. 5. My wife and family stood by me when things were going tough, so one good turn deserves another 6. Rather than stingy, thrifty is a more befiting word and would have been more appealing. 7. As a Christian I read also in the Bible that God loves a cheerful giver so the measure you used for others will be used for you. That's all I think of. You can add your own reasons as well. The Bible says do not follow the crowd to an evil end. A word is enough.
