Note : This is a list of measures taken so far to end the sit at home. 1) Cancelation of the weekly sit at home a month ago, on direct instruction from MNK. Reaction : people stayed in. 2) Continuous encouragement for the people to come out by IPOB and Eastern governors alike. Reaction : people stayed in and viciously lambasted the IPOB lawyers and leadership of selling out. 3) Provision of extra security to assuage feelings of likely attack if people open business. Reaction : People remained indoors. When these failed : 4) Government threatens dismissal-on-no resumption for government workers every Monday. Reaction : Staff and the general populace remained indoors despite threat. 5) Government threatens shutdown of banks l, transport unions and markets if they fail to open. Reaction : People remained indoors. 6) After exam disruption IPOB vows to assist in seeking out touts threatening few open businesses : Reaction to be seen next Monday. Now hypothetically speaking, what if next Monday the entire South East remains on lockdown?. What will the naysayers come up with and what will the government do?
