Many Cultures Are Dying! Help!

29

Good day naijaworlders I took notice of that, and I see it as a problem, we live in a world where there is a fast transmission of cultures, there is a high rate of transculturation but that's not just it,some cultures are beginning to die off, some are greatly endangered because they so much paved way to some other cultures and have began to see the death of their own cultures. These days most modern parents term their own cultures, fetish, evil, local and all sorts of downgrading names, what they don't know is that what they call foreign cultures are just cultures of some other people whom are proud of what they have and they proudly market it. These parents see speaking their own languages as offensive, they see calling their kids local names or native names as below their status, they would rather bear an Asian name they know nothing about than theirs and you even see them proud of it,I am waiting for the day a pure Chinese will bear the name Ebuka,Tope or Hassan... This thing is not funny, if we don't do something about this,we will one day have most of our values disappear without a trace, and it's happening now
