Economic activities was grounded in some parts of Enugu state on Monday following multiple attack on citizens by ESN/IPOB militants enforcing sit-at-home order. The enforcement which resulted to burning of Keke caused palpable fear and pandemonium among the residents, most of whom were barely settling down for the day’s activities. Citizen Reporters learnt that Shops, business centres, banks in the metropolis were abruptly shut, while tricycle operators, motorists and thoroughfarers fled to different directions for safety. In Umueze Agbani in Nkanu West LGA of Enugu state, a tricycle otherwise known as Keke was burnt down while several other people were molested and beaten by IPOB/ESN sit at home enforcers. Despite the glaring evidence that IPOB sit at home is still effective and been enforced by ESN, the outlawed group has consistently denied been responsible for the Mondays attack.
