The University of Ibadan Students' Union Elections for the 2020/2021 Academic session is scheduled to Hold today, Saturday, 9th October, 2021; from the Hours of 8am - 3pm. The Students' Union Electoral Publicity Committee, SUEC, had earlier informed the Students' community that the mode of voting will be strictly online just as the Previous Students' Union Elections for the 2018/2019 session was conducted. Campus Verve reports that The Senate of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, had previously lifted the ban placed on students’ union activities two years after its imposition. The decision to lift the ban was reached at the Senate’s meeting of August 30, 2019 during which the Dean of Students Affairs, Prof. I.A. Abiona, made a passionate appeal for the lifting of the ban to allow for the conduct of elections for the students’ body during the 2018/2019 session.
