The chairman of the South-East Governors Forum and Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi told reporters on Tuesday that a special security meeting had been held online. This comes as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu set up their own security group and called it the 'Eastern Security Network'. Umahi said: "Eastern governors have several conferences on our regional security." "Currently, we are considering the type of uniforms the security personnel will wear which will be the same in all the Eastern regions." "We are also considering the vehicles they will be using, and it will be the same in the Eastern region." "We have also discussed how to provide these security personnel with adequate training to ensure that they perform their duties efficiently, which is to protect people's lives and property." "Over the next few weeks, we will be releasing uniforms to enhance the security situation in our region."
