As individuals, groups continue to decry the worsening security challenges in Nigeria, the President Vision Africa International and Co-chair Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace, Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, has stated that the security challenges in the country has gone beyond what Nigerian Government can manage. The Methodist Bishop, noted that negative stories of high scale killings, abduction, banditry among others has become unpleasant, hence it has become necessary for the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government to seek help abroad so as to stem massive killings, abductions going on in the country. He called on Nigerians irrespective of religious, ethnic and party affiliations to put heads together, relegate politics to the background and assist the Federal Government in finding solutions to the security threats, adding that the Federal Government is in dire need of help in order to surmount its present challenges. The Global Peace Award Winner 2013, stated that for the country to remain one, the Federal Government must swallow pride, make self open to suggestions and ideas shared by opposition parties in the country and other well meaning Nigerians, stressing that such collaboration will no doubt help a troubled Nation like Nigeria, come out of her various predicament. Bishop Onuoha, who also made case for dialogue between all aggrieved groups, individuals among others, added that like a father says sorry to his son, there is need to say sorry to those who feel wronged by the utterances or certain actions of their leaders, noting that such act, will go a long way in restoring peace in Nigeria.
