*APC NAT' RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE; Former Governor of Nasarawa Chairs as DR Betta Edu alongside 4 Former Governors Senators, Former Reps Speaker, & serving Minister Inaugurated* The National Caretaker Chairman of All Progressives Party (APC), Governor Mai Mala Buni has inaugurated the 9-member National Reconciliation Committee to reposition the party ahead of the planned National Convention and the 2023 General Elections. The inauguration which took place at the party Secretariat at Abuja was well attended by other party faithfuls and members of the Extraordinary Caretaker Committee. Dr Betta Edu who was inaugurated alongside others will served in the committee chaired by former Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Adamu with His Excellency Moses Adeyemo as the Secretary. Mai Mala Buni, who inaugurated the Committee tasked the committee to ensure that aggrieved members of the party are reconcile, harmonise and integrated to cement all cracks and seeming differences. According to him, as the congresses have commenced and it's ongoing the committee should be able to meet aggrieved persons and dialogue for peace and all encompassing unity of the party with the right approach and Internal mechanisms. Dr Betta Edu who was excited about an opportunity to serve and be a member of the committee expressed determination with the task given to her and other members of the committee while assuring to utilise the opportunity as the only gender sensitive member present to explore her wealth of experience in resolving conflict. She thanked the the leader of the party, President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Mai Mala Buni and her for the opportunity given to her to served in the sensitive committee of the party. Huge appreciation to the Governor of Cross River State Sen Ben Ayade for building young leaders that have become very useful to nation building like Dr Betta Edu. The Committee consist of former Governors, senator, Speaker House of Representatives and a serving minister as members.
