> According to French media outlet GFFN, Chelsea is considering a swap deal in which Callum Hudson-Odoi moves to Bavaria and Coman moves in the opposite direction. Thomas Tuchel admires Coman’s skills and wants to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Hudson-Odoi has not featured regularly under the German manager, therefore Chelsea could allow him to finally finalise a move to Die Roten. This report also included information on the contract negotiations with Coman and Rekordmeister. The French winger presently gets a yearly salary of €9 million. He wants to be paid the same as Leroy Sane, who earns close to €18 million per year. Rekordmeister, on the other hand, is only willing to offer Coman €13 million. The French international has joined Pini Zahavi to his entourage, so contract negotiations will be difficult for Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Hudson-Odoi has been a long-term Bayern target. The German club attempted to sign him three times in three different transfer windows. If this claim is correct, they may be able to achieve their long-term goal, but losing Coman will be a huge blow. Kingsley Coman has made significant progress in the last 18 months. After refining his decision-making in the final third, the French winger has become a much more dangerous outside player. This summer, Die Roten require a wide player, but not at the expense of Coman. The Frenchman is entering the final two years of his contract, so if he does not sign a new agreement, this summer will be his last chance to obtain a significant money. It will be interesting to observe how the club’s new hierarchy handles this scenario. Given the club’s dire financial situation, it would be a huge surprise if Coman left this summer. If Chelsea can match Hudson-financial Odoi’s offer, things may get interesting.
