Is Satan The Temporary God Of The Earth? Let's Here The Scriptures
Many hold the opinion that, Satan is currently in control of the earth and its affairs. But is that the position of the scriptures? Well, for those who hold this opinion cite the scripture that refers to Satan as "the god of this world" Well, this world does not mean the EARTH. This World refers to SIN. Satan is the god of sin. As to who is in charge of the Earth, let's here what the scriptures teach: Psalms 47:1-2,6-9 [1]Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! [2]For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. [6]Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! [7] For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding. [8] God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne. [9]The princes of the people have gathered together, The people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted. The above verses are explanatory and explicit. Those who believe Satan is the temporary God of the Earth cite Matthew 4 when Satan told Jesus he would give Him all the Kingdoms of the world as the basis of their position; but did Jesus believe what Satan told Him? NO! Besides, what is the devil's track record? He is a Liar! Why then do many believe in the devil's claim? Well, God controls the Heavens and the Earth.
