Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye was born on 2nd of March 1942, currently 78 years old, in Osun State, Nigeria. He attends Ilesha Grammar School Ilesha Osun State in 1956, before he proceeded to University of Nigeria Nsukka(UNN) in Nsukka but, he completed his first degree in University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) because of Nigerian Civil War graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1967. Pastor E A Adeboye joined the Redemed Christian Church of God in 1973, where he served as an interpreter before he was ordained as a pastor in the by Pa. Josiah Akindayomi in 1975.
