Protest Rocks University Of Benin @VONNEWS A Group of Activists have ordered for the immediate resignation of Prof. Lilian Imuetinyan Salami, the present Vice Chancellor of The Great University of Benin, following the order of shoot at site of any student found in the school premises. And also throw caution to the present govt... On the attitude of disregard to lives of citizens in Nigeria. According to the group, the aggrieved students of the institution laments that the school authorities have imposed #20,000 fees on the any students who failed to pay school fees 2 weeks after resumption as late dues for failure to pay on time, not minding the current situation of the country economy when many finds it hard to survive. On a final note, the group is begging the federal government to consider the quality of leadership before nominating for an appointment most especially in such sensitive offices as the Vice Chancellor position. And also call Prof.Lilian to order that no students blood should be shed by any means, their maximum protection should be paramount in this peaceful protest where they need to exercise their rights.
