No less than 1million Nigerians would benefit from the federal government N-Power Batch C program this year, as 800,000 applicants have already been disqualified from participating. This was disclosed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management And Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, at a press briefing on Tuesday, June 8, in Abuja. While addressing newsmen, the minister said over 1.8 million Nigerians successfully updated their records and took the compulsory online test via the NASIMS portal. She further revealed that 500,000 applicants out of the 1.8 million made it to the final stage of the selection process and would kick-off the program nationwide as Batch C1 while the second batch of another 500,000 will be further selected for the one year program. “By the 3rd week of May 2021, over 1.8 million Nigerians successfully updated their records and took the compulsory online test.
