“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.”– Galatians 3:7. God has called us to enjoy divine prosperity. But first He has called us into righteousness. “Just as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness”(Galatians 3:6). We are also to believe Him and be sanctified in Him. Even though we can be likened to Gentiles in today’s world, Christ’s death and His grace have made us partakers in God’s blessings to Abraham. This is because we are now descendants of father Abraham. Yes, by faith in Christ we are sons and daughters of Abraham, (Galatians 3:7) – so automatically we are partakers of bGod’s covenant to Abraham. In Genesis 17:1-10 (Read Here), God promised Abraham that He will bless Him and “Multiply him exceedingly” if he will “walk before Him and be blameless”. He then promised Abraham that he will be the ‘Father of Many Nations’. Genesis 17:4 affirms it – “As for me, behold my covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations”. The Lord Almighty further established His covenant with Abraham and told him, He will “establish His covenant between Himself and Abraham, and descendants after Abraham from generations to generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to Abraham and to his descendants”. And so the scripture foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying; “In you, all nations shall be blessed” (Galatians 3 VS eight). This promise is not for all nations of the whole earth. But the promise is kept for only his descendants who believe in Christ and are of faith. So God extended His covenants to the descendants of Abraham (both Jews and Gentiles, Circumcised and Uncircumcised), who believeth Christ (are born again) and are of the faith. “That the blessings of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Galatians 3:4). Now that we know we are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus, and that we are Christ’s and also Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. I will show you how this relates to TITHING. (CONTINUE READING HERE>>>>)
