“We came back from the battle victoriously after winning over the Valacoeliba. We rejoice and went back to our respective houses that night.” Badella paused “So what happened?” I replied “That night, I was about sleeping when I heard voices of horsemen and chariots, I declined the voice. I wanted to catch sleep then I heard voices of women and children crying, crying for the king’s and us the warrior’s help. I stood up and peeped through the window to see what is going on, and then I saw Pitrus has invaded the town with the soldiers. I saw Matirun, your father, walking towards him. Matirun and Pitrus started a conversation I didn’t hear due to distance, but with what I saw, I knew your father was pleading with Pitrus. Later, your father called me and I went, he instructed me to come with your mother. I went to bring her to him, on my way going I saw Pitrus as he sheaths his sword and behead your dad. I knew your mother was your father’s beloved wife. I then taught of it if she gets killed Matirun’s linage and power is gone for life, so I decided to save her from him that’s where the journey started and I succeeded in the escape from Pitrus and his armies and headed here to make a secure place for you and for you to take back your possessions.” Badella concluded “Does that really mean you’re not my real father?” I asked in surprise “Yes I’m not; your real father was a king, that’s why I named you Gordawis meaning ‘vengeance is of me’” Badella explained “Gord, it’s your time to take back the land of Kadeshuq” I said to myself “I was also killed by that Pitrus but I didn’t die” An old man clothed in white robe, bare footed, walked in to Badella and Gordawis conversation “Tell me more about that, you didn’t die?” I spoke in amazement “I’d be right back, I want to see to the animals I just hunt” Badella gave an excuse as he left the spot where he and I were. “You said you want to know more about me?” Athesculah, the old man asked “Yes, granny” I replied “Well, firstly, I’m not your granny and secondly, I just want to tell you this just because I want you to also put my vengeance in mind, so just avenge for me” Athesculah spoke “Okay sir” I sat right preparing to the thrilling story of Athesculah. “200 years ago” Athesculah paused as he looked up, gulping down his saliva “My grandfather had a short argument with your grandfather. My grandfather being the chief priest decided to show him what he could do, so he prepared a concoction to make him live long. The king then, which is your grandfather, had some magic powers and he decided that he didn’t need a chief priest. I went to visit my grandfather at that time. I went to play with my friends, so I came back hungry and couldn’t find any food. I search around the house no one was at home and there was no food too. So I went to his room to check if he is sleeping, but fortunately for me I didn’t find him but I find food partially covered. I ate it hungrily. Meanwhile, the food was a concoction he went almost round the world to make. He couldn’t make another due to the stress. That’s why I’ve been living for over 200 years now.” He paused and I nodded my head to show a sign that I’m with him. “Let me use this privilege to open your eyes to something you don’t know about spells. Specifically, we have 4 different types of spell. 1000 years ago the man sent from above the sky, Masdem to establish this earth came and gave birth to 4 children. The 4 children are Poluh, Grolid, Adalid and Aphida. Masdem dedicated his children to a spell and a spirit which possess each of them and made them powerful. Later, after their father’s death, they all become a god; people learn their ways and worship them. Even till they die, their spell works. Poluh, is the least and first category of spell and easy to learn. Poluh, spells need the user to put on a garment called, the spell garment. But can’t over power Grolid, Adalid and Aphida. Pitrus exercise this spell. Grolid is the name of the spell you use. It’s powerful than Poluh and can work with or without garment, but best when on garment. It’s greater than Poluh only in some cases. Adalid is the spell I make use of no man has it. It is a spell dedicated to my family, but Pitrus kill them all few years ago, and same to me but I didn’t die due to the concoction I took. Aphida is the greatest spell; he is the red eye demon. I urge you, you go for that. This spell is the easiest; just call on him and you’d get your enemies dead. If you are his heart you must give him whatever he wants else he will die, but if you are his Lord, you’d rule over him completely. His spirit still exists even after his dead. Pitrus took out my entire linage, and I want you to clear his linage and before you kill him let him know I’m still alive.” He concluded “Alright sir” I bowed my head a bit ************** Soon, I was planning on taking off to the town. Strategies planned and I’m camouflaged. Read next part here:
