Ecowas Youth Parliament Honours Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze As Patron
LOUD OVATION!!! ECOWAS YOUTH PARLIAMENT HONOURS ICHIE SIR IZUCHUKWU NWABUEZE AS PATRON Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze, Ksc, Phf, Jp, (Ichie Chinaemeze) the Chairman Ukpo Ceremonies Committee and principal secretary to His Royal Majesty, Igwe Dr Robert Eze (Okofia VI) the traditional ruler of Ukpo ancient Kingdom in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State has joined Alh. Manir Dan Iya, Deputy governor of Sokoto State and Alh. Dr. Musa Kida, President, Federation of Basketball Association of Nigeria to be honoured as Patron of ECOWAS Youth Parliament. Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze was Officially Honoured and presented with the Ecowas Youth Parliament Patron Certificate by the delegation of ECOWAS Youth Council from16 countries in west Africa at Dunukofia Palace Ukpo. The delegation was led by the representative of the Regional Speaker- Amb. Dr. Fadina Dambabe represented Abolona Boguel from Cote d' Vouire, Amb. Olasunkanmi Kolawole (Rt. Hon. Speaker ) Ecowas Youth Parliament, Nigeria, Abdelsalam Mahamatatmat representative from Mali, Amb. Mary Okpi (Director of Socials ), Comr. Cynthia Joseph, Comr. Kingsley Asiegbu and Chinecherem Ezeudo all of Ecowas Youth Parliament regional Secretariat, Abuja. Presenting the Patron Certificate and Award, the Regional Speaker stated that the selection was in recognition of his humanitarian Services and support for the emancipation of the Youths across the globe. Speaking further he said that the Ecowas Youth Parliament described him as a role model who is always speaking truth to Power. The ECOWAS Youth Parliament (EYP) a conglomeration of youths, and the largest youth parliament in sub-Saharan Africa with youths across the 15 countries of ECOWAS community in promoting unity and advocating for peace, justice and strong institution.
