Golfer, Tiger Woods has been hospitalised after he was involved in a car crash in Los Angeles on Tuesday. He was driving alone near Rancho Palos Verdes when his vehicle flipped over. Fire fighters had to use a device known as the ‘jaws of life‘ to break open the car and rescue him, DailyMail reports. LA County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the crash, however, as at the time of filing this report, his condition was yet unknown. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in a statement said; “On February 23, at approximately 7.12am, LASD responded to a single vehicle roll-over traffic collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes. The vehicle sustained major damage Mr. Woods was extricated from the wreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.”
