The representative while handing over the materials to the Health care centers highlighted that one of his key areas of focus as a representative is the Health sector which is very important to him as he stated in his manifesto during his campaign, a promise he remains committed to fulfilling. He added that this is also the reason why he also attracted the National Health Insurance Scheme for five hundred indigenes in Bende who cannot afford medical treatment. While encouraging the nurses and other health officers of the National Primary Health Scheme to keep up with the good work they are doing as it is a selfless service to humanity, he also urged them to use the medical supplies for Bende people within the Federal Constituency While warning against, he added that the distribution of the materials to all the primary health centers will be monitored by the health committee members of the constituency office to ensure even distribution and dispensing across the federal constituency. The Head Authority Secretary of National Primary Scheme n Bende Fed. Constituency, Mrs. Chinyere Nwankwo, received the materials from the representative on behalf of her team and expressed gratitude to him for filling the gap of need that was almost shutting for medical supplies which was almost shutting the center down. The lawmaker was assured by Mrs. Nwankwo that distribution and dispension of the materials will be judiciously managed. An outpatient of the Center, Mr. Andrew Ifenkwe who was in high spirit expressed great joy about the supplies because according to him, before now many, patients used to visit the center with the list of drugs that they can’t afford but with this basic drugs that will be easily available especially to the indigent patients.
